Joanna Kuvaja, se tv-juontajako? Ei. Vaan Johanna Kuvaja!

“It was only until I started to be myself that the music started to flow and people started to listen.” 🎶 —Sam Smith ——————————————————————————-📸 @petteri_kaakinen_photography I can relate to this quote so well. It took me so long to learn how to accept myself and love myself, but once I finally did, I was able to fully be myself and express myself. 💃 When I posed for the Playboy, I wasn’t afraid of the consequences or what other people might think of me. I know who I am and I only care about my own opinion of me. That’s true freedom 🤗 I’m an advocate for body positivity and self acceptance. 🥰 Loving yourself is not easy. We often compare ourselves on social media; other people seem to have lots of followers, a perfect relationship, more money, amazing body etc, and we feel down about ourselves.🥺 We often concentrate on the external things. But what happens when you lose those? That’s what happened to me. I lost my ideal family/marriage, our house & belongings due to toxic mold, my health, job etc.. I suffered from depression until I started to work on myself diligently. I still do every single day. 💪🏻 Understand that you are more than your body and all of these external things. And you don’t need a blue checkmark to proof that you are verified. Be verified by you. ✅ Upgrade your mind and make your mind the most beautiful thing about you. 🥰 Strive towards being real and authentic. In the world where everyone tries to fit in, be yourself and do your thing. That’s what true acceptance is. 💃😉 Thank you @playboyportugalmagazine @petteri_kaakinen_photography @hotellivanajanlinna @lauramelanieh @mikawalkamo @petteriahomaa for making this amazing experience possible for me. I’ll be remembering this when I’m old and grey 🐰👵

Shower Janne Hyöty- remix is out now. Link in the bio.🔝🎶🚿 Photo: @petteri_kaakinen_photography A year ago I released my first single “Shower”. Needless to say that it was a life changing moment for me. All of a sudden I became a pop star and I was called “Finland’s Sabrina” by the Finnish media. ”Shower” was compared to her hit song “Boys” and I’ll be always known for this song in Finland 🇫🇮 🚿💃🎶 I’m proud to release a club remix of Shower mixed by an award winning Finnish producer Janne Hyöty. Janne has reached huge success in the Asian market having over 40 no 1 hit songs in Japan. I’m honored that he offered to do a remix and I hope you’re going to love it as much as I do.🥰 ”Shower” represents so many things for me: new beginnings, empowerment, believing in yourself &loving yourself, body positivity, trusting the universe.. ✨ Seize the opportunity, don’t be afraid of change. You have all the power to create a new ending to your story. Just be brave enough to do it -even if there’s a chance to fail and end up making a total fool out of yourself ✨😉🙈 So what if you do, embarrass yourself once and you’re free forever 😝💃🚿 Thank you to everyone who takes the time to listen to my song 🎶🙏💖 And thank you for following my journey. There will be lots of new twists coming up soon.. 😉 At least my life is anything but boring 😅😇 And that’s the way I like it 😉👍🏻

SHOWER” 🚿–NEW SONG OUT TODAY – 🎶 link in bio. If somebody would’ve told me a couple of years ago that I’ll be releasing music and posing in a bikini publicly, I would’ve laughed that off in disbelief. But that is the beauty of life; it’s full of surprises. Nothing lasts forever: not the good times or the bad times. Somehow the most difficult times in my life steered me back to discover my true passion for music. I had buried that part of me completely, and ever since I got sick due to toxic mold, losing my voice for years, it didn’t even occur to me that I could pursue a music career one day. After pouring my heart into my songs, I realized that my songs had more depth and character than ever before. My story wasn’t over yet. I changed my attitude; instead of focusing on the fall, I decided to focus on the comeback. I chose not to be a victim of my circumstances. I put myself out there, invested in my talents, took a risk and now I’ll see where it takes me. I’m proud to present my first single,”Shower”, which is a flirtatious, catchy summer song. 😉☀️ Thank you to all of you who have followed my journey. Your support means the world.🙏💛 A special thanks to @mikaelforsby for the production, and to @petteri_kaakinen_photography for putting this video-teaser together. 🌸 I hope you’ll enjoy this happy, funny summer song. ☀️🙏🎶🚿

”Ignore the ones who talk behind your back. They belong behind you”. 😌 ———————————————————— When you put yourself out there and do big things, you’ll always have haters and critics.😳 We’re all judged and criticized right now. The only way to avoid criticism is to do nothing, be nothing, say nothing.🤐💭 It’s easy for people to point out what you’re doing wrong, but are you gonna let them have power over your life? When you’re on your death bed, are you gonna look back and feel a sense of pride that you avoided criticism? 🤔 It took courage for me to post this pic and release my “shower-song” 🚿🎶(on 9 th of August), but I’m proud of myself for having the guts to do it. If anybody’s got a problem with that, screw them. 👋🏻 HOW TO DEAL WITH HATERS/CRITICISM? ▪️Take it as a compliment. Your critics are your greatest fans cos it takes a lot of time and energy to focus on someone. They pay attention to you cos they’d love to be you, live the way you live, be as successful as you are. Criticism is the best proof that you’re bound to be highly successful. You’re no longer unseen. 🤩 You’re in the spotlight where all the magic happens. ✨ ▪️”How you see me has nothing to do with me. It has everything to do with you. ”What someone says reflects how they feel and shows their unresolved issues. They say in psychology: ”If you spot it, you got it”.🧐 Ask yourself what is this person going through and why do they need to say bad things to feel better? Happy/successful people don’t have time/reason to judge others. ▪️Don’t give attention to negative energy. 🙅🏼‍♀️Focus on what serves you, cos whatever you focus on, grows. The second you take negative comments personally and dwell on them, you’re losing.🤼‍♂️ ▪️Where are your critics coming from? Is it your best friend? Anonymous troll? Who are these people? What are their intentions? Critics look for the mistakes. When someone is trying to help you, they are trying to give you solutions to your problems. 🤔 ▪️Remember that we’re all a work in progress; we all make mistakes and we learn every day.👩‍🎓📝 Before you judge another person, make sure you’re perfect yourself.🥇

”The greatest prison people live in is the fear of what other people think.” 🔐 Photo by @markpozsonyi ——————————————————————————— Are you worrying what other people think? 🤭 I used to worry too. And the most liberating thing that has ever happened to me was the moment when I stopped caring. Nowadays I don’t waste my time worrying how other people perceive me/my life. The only thing I care about is how I perceive myself. HOW TO STOP CARING WHAT OTHER PEOPLE THINK: ▪️Ask yourself: “Whose life is it?”. Your parents/friends/yours.. ? 🤔💭 People often tell you that you should do this and that, and they might even have good intentions. Even if they try to help you (like your parents), always see their level of consciousness/awareness. People can only give you as much information as they have. Any opinion they have is coming from the belief they have. Their reality may not be yours at all,and there’s always a generation gap. Always do what works for you. ▪️Realize that how other people see you/treat you has nothing to do with you. It has everything to do with them. People, who are happy and busy creating something meaningful in their lives, don’t have a lot to say about you. And if they do, they only try to lift you up to the next level. So if people are talking negative things about you, chances are that their life isn’t going anywhere and they’re not in a happy place 🤫 ▪️Stop overthinking. People don’t care about you as much as you think. People are so preoccupied with their day to day lives, that if someone has a lot of opinions about you,it only means that they are obsessed with you ‘cos they can’t stop thinking about you. 😉 Take it as a compliment. 💁🏼‍♀️ They actually love you! 😝 lol ▪️Know yourself. If you don’t know yourself, you will always care what other people think and often externalize the power to other people. Figure out your life purpose by creating and trying out different things. Find out what you’re good at. Be authentic and own your weirdness. 🧟‍♀️😅 The world needs real people. So don’t be afraid to be yourself. Life is too short to be someone else. 😉
