No, tässä taidonnäytettä kuitenkin molemmilta mallikaunottarilta. Toiselta enemmän ja toiselta vähemmän.

Some of us are familiar with this terribly embarrassing feeling – When you meet a person in a group that you have definitely met before, or maybe even more than once, but don’t remember what his or her name is. Michael? Or maybe Mike? Oh no, Jason? A hundred options are spinning in my head, but which one is the right one? This happens quite often, and as a result, many of us come to the conclusion that they simply have a terrible memory for names. And here we are indignant and scolding ourselves, saying something like this: why does this happen at all? I perfectly Remember perfectly the jingle from the candy bar advertisement, but I absolutely cannot remember the names of people! this happens not only with the names of those whom you meet in real life. The names of actors, writers, literary heroes fly out of our memory like birds from their nests. Statistics show that 35% of readers forget the author who wrote the novel they just read. It seems awful. What’s wrong with our memory? Why do we remember faces, but do not remember names? Fortunately, this is not a matter of poor memory. Scientists from York University found that in this way the brain is fighting to preserve important information. To everything else, the fact is added that the faces of people are not so much remembered as they are recognized. But with names we have a different story: they just need to be remembered . These are two completely different processes, and numerous studies long proven that the first is much easier for us than the second. This is how our brain functions, so the only thing keft for us is to repeat some information that we do not want to forget. This is one of the main strategies for improving memorization. If you want to remember the name of the author of any novel, repeat it several times a day for a couple of days, you will probably remember this and you will never forget it.
